TPF Internals
Overview
This 5 day course is designed to give experienced TPF programmers a
more detailed understanding of the internal workings of a TPF
System. This course can be customised to your requirements to
include detailed information about TPFDF and ISOC if required.
Pre-requisites
Attendees should have a good understanding of Assembler programming.
Audience
TPF Programmers who require a better understanding of the internal
processing of TPF.

Objectives
By the end of the course, the delegates will be able, with the aid of
course notes to:
- Understand the
different system configurations available to a TPF System
- Identify the major
Lists in the CPU Loop and their usage
- Understand the
management of the TPF Database
- Understand how DAT
works in SVA and EVA
- List the usage of
utilities such as Recoup, PDU, Capture/Restore
- Understand the
processing flow of TPF.
