Introduction for Operators
Overview
This 3 day course is designed to give a technical
overview to the TPF System to new operators.
It can also be useful for existing operators who
have moved into the role with no formal training and
would like a better understanding of TPF
Fundamentals.
Pre-requisites
None.
Audience
Operators who are required to operator have an understanding
of the fundamentals of a TPF System.
Student Numbers
The maximum recommended student to instructor
ratio is 12:1
Objectives
By the end of the course, the delegates will be
able, with the aid of course notes to:
- List the different system configurations
available to a TPF System
- Identify the major Lists in the CPU Loop
and their usage
- List
the different types of TPF Files
- List the differences between a Message
and a Transaction
- List
the usage of utilities such as Recoup, PDU,
Capture/Restore
- Interpret
the output from various Z Messages
